Ha, I have that calender too! And YesAsia just shipped my 2007 calender today. YAY!

I suppose I could take a picture of my room, and not just my shelf, so I shall do that soon.

I dont have to worry about my dad approving what it is I buy. My money, my room, my stuff.

If you know where to shop, online isnt all that expsnsive. Yesasia.com is a good place, and usually offers free shipping on orders over $25.

f

I've got the 2007 poster calender on order, not the regular one yet. I havent seen any pictures of either one yet though.

My whole room is covered in fullmetal alchemist. Its crazy.

Thats just the stuff that fits on the shelf. I've got so many posters and other memorabilia (sp?) But I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I use Fire Fox as well, and Im not having problems with the video. Whats your resolution? Im on 1024x768

f

Well, its a bit off center for me, cause there are a few words at the bottom, but I never really noticed it until now.

f

Volume 10 had chapters 38 through 41. It may be my favorite volume so far. And Im so happy they stoped calling Havoc Jan. That was so annoying in volume 9. Dunno if Ling is still Lin or not, cause they didnt say his name once in the whole volume.

I figure I'd get a Wii to start off with, then when people stop killing each other over them, maybe look into PS3. Right now, I wouldn't be able to find a PS3 if my life depended on it. Maybe when a good game comes out for it, but until then, its not even an option.

f

I have a DS, so I guess Im lucky. I really wanna see how it plays. As for next gen, I'd say Wii, but my opinion might be a bit one sided.

On a side note, has anyone else read vol. 10 of the manga? I dont think Mustang has ever been so cool.

f

Im such a nerd... I bought the regular edition when it came out, and now the special edition. Its so cool! I didnt realize that they would make the case the book that I had heard about. Yay! Lame thing is that the movie disc is exactly the same as the regular edition... but you still get that second disc!

As for the games, I know Dual Sympathy is due out in December. I assumed they would rerelease the other games, but I hadn't heard anything about it yet.

So far, the Art Of FullMetal Alchemist for the manga and the anime has been released. As well as FMA Profiles for the manga and the anime version is comming soon.

f

The special edition of the movie is supposed to hit North American stores today. I believe it's a two disc edition with character post cards and some other special features. Plus alot of the art books are being trasnlated now. The Art of Fullmetal Alchemist: The Anime was just recently released, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Profiles for the anime should be comming soon too. Volume 10 of the manga is either out now or will be soon. Dual Sympathy for the Nintendo DS is also being translated and is set to release in North America shortly. Who doesnt want to try their hand at 'Whack a Homunculus'?

f

When you own the DVDs, its alot easier. You dont have to wait forever for your favorite eppisode, and no commercials either. Plus the DVDs usually have cool extras included, like actor commentary.

Did everyone fall off of the planet or what? Seriously, its really slowed down here.

f

Quote by OdysseusI too think they did a good job weaving the two together. Though not totally sure on this, I've heard that there was a myth that a great dragon appeared right after World War I. I think they might have tried to make Envy that Dragon... maybe. Again not totally sure. But either way, I liked it alot.

I dont think I've ever heard that, but I dont doubt that Bones did the research on anything related, even slightly, to the world wars.

f

Why is the font white?!?! Evil ness

f

Yes, I think they did a good job at tying up loose ends and bringing everything to a close. I didnt really like Alfons' voice in the dub though. It just sounded a little off to me. I guess its just one of those things you have to get used to though, cause I didnt find it so bad near the end. Hughes... I didnt like him being a Nazi, although I understand why he was for story porposes. And he was just so cute with Gracia! I think they did a great job with it. And it all makes sense that they would unite our history with thier fiction. The occult was very popular at the time, and whats more occult then alchemy?

f

Thanks, I'd love to join! I havent read the manga yet, more like flip through the pictures, but it looks fantastic. Very beautiful.

f

OMG! I have been looking for Clover forever! I got it in my head to cosplay Oruha since I already look so much like her, and since then I've been looking everywhere for what little scraps I could find. You have made my quest so much easier! Thank you so much!

f

I finally watched the Chibi OVA all the way through. OMG! The adorable was over whelming. I probly watched it 5 times. Roy was so cute as a chibi! And when Al was pretending to be ... other Al. Just so cute!

f

I think I saw the third one for sale on Ebay. It supposed to be a tag team fighting game. Carnival of Dreams or something like that.... The ad I saw went into detail about why Armstrong is the 'Strong Arm Alchemist'. It was pretty funny.

f

Plus, theres all those FMA games for the PS2. I hear theres even going to be one on the DS.

f

The site I found the info at says the 26th... which is when it was supposed to orginally come out, but who knows? They just went all screwy with the release dates... no one has anything straight.

f

I get to pick mine up tomorrow, along with volume 13. The special edition version of the movie looks totally worth it if you ask me.

"This limited edition comes with a 64-Page hardback book, ten 5x7 portrait cards, and a bonus DVD with extras and "The Making of Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie." Bonus DVD Features: 54 Minute Interview with Japanese Cast and Crew, 3 Audio Commentaries, 2 Japanese Staff Commentaries, US Staff Commentary, Extended Trailer." - taken from http://www.animenation.com/fn-08173.html

f

yeah, in the manga.

And as a side note, I believe I have found the absolute worst fan sub of the FMA movie ever! Seriously, at least 1/3 of the movie wasnt even subbed, and half of what was subbed, did not match up. Its like, once the movie got to a certian part, the subtitles reset. So we have a whole new scene playing out, with the subtitles for scenes that happend 5 minutes ago! I cant wait for the movie to come out tomorrow so I can know what was actually going on! I must admit though, it was quite funny to watch it with my friends and have Armstrong and Mustang on the screen with subtitles saying "Take me, Edward! Take me! Take me please!"

f

I also know that in vol. 8, the kana under King Bradley's name, doesnt say King Bradley, it says Izumi. I do not understand how they could mess that up!

f

OMG!

You would not believe the amount of errors that are in the 9th volume. Its crazy!
Ling becomes Lin, even though he has a braclet that still says Ling
Jean Havoc is now Jan
and Al became Ed, unless Al was talking in the third person.

f

Its also lame cause just about every city was only showing it for a few days...

f

T_T

I missed my showing. I didnt really think I would make it to beguin with, but then my friend got my hope up.. but no. I missed yesterday's showing, and its a 13 hour ish drive to LA, which means I miss that one too.
